”مبارک ہیں وہ جو اپنے جامے دھوتے ہیں کیونکہ زندگی کے درخت کے پاس آنے کا اختیار پائیں گے اور اْن دروازوں سے شہر میں داخل ہوں گے۔ مگر کتے اور جادوگر اور حرامکار اور خونی اور بت پرست اور جھوٹی بات کا ہر ایک پسند کرنے والا اور گھڑنے والا باہر رہے گا۔“
“Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.”

3۔ اور یوں ہوگا کہ جب خداوند تیری محنت و شفقت سے اور سخت خدمت سے جو اْنہوں نے تجھ سے کرائی راحت بخشے گا۔
4۔ تب تْو شاہ بابل کے خلاف یہ مثل لائے گا اور کہے گا کہ ظالم کیسا نابود ہوگیا؟اور غاصب کیسا نیست ہوا!
5۔ خداوند نے شریروں کا لٹھ یعنی بے انصاف حاکموں کا عصا توڑ ڈالا۔
6۔ وہی جو لوگوں کو قہر سے مارتا رہا اور قوموں پر غضب کے ساتھ حکمرانی کرتا رہا اور کوئی روک نہ سکا۔
7۔ ساری زمین پر آرام و آرائش ہے۔ وہ یکایک گیت گانے لگتے ہیں۔
27۔ کیونکہ رب الافواج نے ارادہ کیا ہے۔ کون اْسے باطل کرے گا؟اور اْس کا ہاتھ بڑھایا گیا ہے اْسے کون روکے گا؟
3. And it shall come to pass in the day that the Lord shall give thee rest from thy sorrow, and from thy fear, and from the hard bondage wherein thou wast made to serve,
4. That thou shalt take up this proverb against the king of Babylon, and say, How hath the oppressor ceased! the golden city ceased!
5. The Lord hath broken the staff of the wicked, and the sceptre of the rulers.
6. He who smote the people in wrath with a continual stroke, he that ruled the nations in anger, is persecuted, and none hindereth.
7. The whole earth is at rest, and is quiet: they break forth into singing.
27. For the Lord of hosts hath purposed, and who shall disannul it? and his hand is stretched out, and who shall turn it back?

31۔ جو جنات کے یار ہیں اورجو جادو گر ہیں تم اْن کے پاس نہ جانا اور نہ اْن کے طالب ہونا کہ وہ تم کو نجس بنا دیں۔ مَیں خداوند تمہارا خدا ہوں۔
31 Regard not them that have familiar spirits, neither seek after wizards, to be defiled by them: I am the Lord your God.
9۔جب تو اس ملک میں جو خداوند تیرا خدا تجھ کو دیتا ہے پہنچ جائے تو وہاں کی قوموں کی طرح مکروہ کام کرنے نہ سیکھنا۔
10۔تجھ میں ہرگز کوئی ایسا نہ ہو جو اپنے بیٹے یا بیٹی کو آگ میں چلوائے یا فالگیریا شگون نکالنے والا یا افسون گر یا جادوگر۔
11۔یا منتری یا جنات کا آشنا یا رمال یا ساحر ہو۔
12۔کیونکہ وہ سب جو ایسے کام کرتے ہیں خداوند کے نزدیک مکروہ ہیں اور ان ہی مکروہات کے سبب سے خداوند تیرا خدا اُن کو تیرے سامنے سے نکالنے پر ہے۔
13۔تو خداوند اپنے خدا کے حضور کامل رہنا۔
14۔کیونکہ وہ قومیں جن کا تو وارث ہو گا شگون نکالنے والوں اور فالگیروں کی سنتی ہیں پر تجھ کو خداوند تیرے خدا نے ایسا کرنے نہ دیا۔
15۔خداوند تیرا خدا تیرے لئے تیرے ہی درمیان سے یعنی تیرے ہی بھائیوں میں سے میری مانند ایک نبی برپا کرے گا۔ تم اُس کی سننا۔
9 When thou art come into the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not learn to do after the abominations of those nations.
10 There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch,
11 Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer.
12 For all that do these things are an abomination unto the Lord: and because of these abominations the Lord thy God doth drive them out from before thee.
13 Thou shalt be perfect with the Lord thy God.
14 For these nations, which thou shalt possess, hearkened unto observers of times, and unto diviners: but as for thee, the Lord thy God hath not suffered thee so to do.
15 The Lord thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken;
23۔ اور یسوع تمام گلیل میں پھرتا رہا اور اْن کے عبادتخانوں میں تعلیم دیتا اور بادشاہی کی خوشخبری کی منادی کرتا اور لوگوں کی ہر طرح کی بیماری اور ہر طرح کی کمزوری کو دور کرتا رہا۔
23 And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.
14۔ اور جب وہ بھیڑ کے پاس پہنچے تو ایک آدمی اْس کے پاس آیا اور اْس کے آگے گھٹنے ٹیک کر کہنے لگا۔
15۔ اے خداوند میرے بیٹے پر رحم کر کیونکہ اْس کو مرگی آتی ہے اور وہ بہت دْکھ اٹھاتا ہے۔ اِس لئے کہ اکثر آگ اور گرمی میں گر پڑتا ہے۔
16۔ اور مَیں اْس کو تیرے شاگردوں کے پاس لایا تھا مگر وہ اْسے اچھا نہ کر سکے۔
17۔ یسوع نے جواب میں کہا اے بے اعتقاد اور کج رو نسل مَیں کب تک تمہارے ساتھ رہوں گا؟ کب تک تمہاری برداشت کروں گا؟ اْسے یہاں میرے پاس لاؤ۔
18۔ یسوع نے اْسے جھڑکا اور بدروح اْس میں سے نکل گئی اور وہ لڑکا اْسی گھڑی اچھا ہو گیا۔
19۔ تب شاگردوں نے یسوع کے پاس آکر خلوت میں کہا ہم اِس کو کیوں نہ نکال سکے؟
20۔ اْس نے اْن سے کہا اپنے ایمان کی کمی کے سبب سے کیونکہ مَیں تم سے سچ کہتا ہوں کہ اگر تم میں رائی کے دانے کے برابر بھی ایمان ہوگا تو اِس پہاڑ سے کہہ سکو گے کہ یہاں سے سرک کر وہاں چلا جا اور وہ چلا جائے گا اور کوئی بات تمہارے لئے ناممکن نہ ہوگی۔
21۔ لیکن یہ قِسم دعا کے سوا کسی اور طرح نہیں نکل سکتی۔
14 And when they were come to the multitude, there came to him a certain man, kneeling down to him, and saying,
15 Lord, have mercy on my son: for he is lunatick, and sore vexed: for ofttimes he falleth into the fire, and oft into the water.
16 And I brought him to thy disciples, and they could not cure him.
17 Then Jesus answered and said, O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you? bring him hither to me.
18 And Jesus rebuked the devil; and he departed out of him: and the child was cured from that very hour.
19 Then came the disciples to Jesus apart, and said, Why could not we cast him out?
20 And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.
21 Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.
21۔ پھر وہ کفر نحوم میں داخل ہوئے اور وہ فی الفور سبت کے دن عبادت خانہ میں جا کر تعلیم دینے لگا۔
22۔ اور لوگ اْس کی تعلیم سے حیران ہوئے کیونکہ وہ اْن کو فقیہوں کی طرح نہیں بلکہ صاحب اختیار کی طرح تعلیم دیتا تھا۔
23۔ اور فی الفور اْن کے عبادتخانہ میں ایک شخص ملا جس میں ناپاک روح تھی۔ وہ یوں کہہ کہ چلایا۔
24۔ اے یسوع ناصری ہمیں تجھ سے کیا کام؟ کیا تْو ہم کو ہلاک کرنے آیا ہے؟ مَیں تجھے جانتا ہوں کہ تْو کون ہے۔ خدا کا قدوس۔
25۔ یسوع نے اْسے جھڑک کر کہا چپ رہ اور اِس میں سے نکل جا۔
26۔ پس وہ ناپاک روح اْسے مروڑ کر اور بڑی آواز سے چلا کر اْس میں سے نکل گئی۔
21 And they went into Capernaum; and straightway on the sabbath day he entered into the synagogue, and taught.
22 And they were astonished at his doctrine: for he taught them as one that had authority, and not as the scribes.
23 And there was in their synagogue a man with an unclean spirit; and he cried out,
24 Saying, Let us alone; what have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art, the Holy One of God.
25 And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold thy peace, and come out of him.
26 And when the unclean spirit had torn him, and cried with a loud voice, he came out of him.
6۔ اور اْس ٹاپو میں ہوتے ہوئے پافْس تک پہنچے۔ وہاں انہیں ایک یہودی جادوگر اور جھوٹا نبی بر یسوع نام ملا۔
7۔ وہ سرگیْس پولوس صوبے دار کے ساتھ تھا جو صاحبِ تمیز آدمی تھا۔ اِس نے ساؤل اور برنباس کو بلا کر خدا کا کلام سننا چاہا۔
8۔ مگر الیماس جادوگر نے (کہ یہی اِس کے نام کا ترجمہ ہے) اْن کی مخالفت کی صوبے دار کو ایمان لانے سے روکنا چاہا۔
9۔ اور ساؤل نے جس کا نام پولوس بھی ہے روح القدس سے بھر کر اْس پر غور سے نظر کی۔
10۔ اور کہا کہ اے ابلیس کے فرزند! تْو تمام مکاری اور شرارت سے بھرا ہوا اور ہر طرح کی نیکی کا دْشمن ہے کیا خداوند کی سیدھی راہوں کو بگاڑنے سے باز نہ آئے گا؟
11۔ اب دیکھ خداوند کا تجھ پر غضب ہے اور تْو اندھا ہو کر کچھ مدت تک سورج کو نہ دیکھے گا اْسی دم کْہر اور اندھیرا اْس پر چھا گیا اور وہ ڈھونڈتا پھرا کہ کوئی اْس کا ہاتھ پکڑ کر لے چلے۔
12۔ تب صوبے دار یہ ماجرا دیکھ کر اور خداوند کی تعلیم سے حیران ہو کر ایمان لے آیا۔
6 And when they had gone through the isle unto Paphos, they found a certain sorcerer, a false prophet, a Jew, whose name was Bar-jesus:
7 Which was with the deputy of the country, Sergius Paulus, a prudent man; who called for Barnabas and Saul, and desired to hear the word of God.
8 But Elymas the sorcerer (for so is his name by interpretation) withstood them, seeking to turn away the deputy from the faith.
9 Then Saul, (who also is called Paul,) filled with the Holy Ghost, set his eyes on him,
10 And said, O full of all subtilty and all mischief, thou child of the devil, thou enemy of all righteousness, wilt thou not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord?
11 And now, behold, the hand of the Lord is upon thee, and thou shalt be blind, not seeing the sun for a season. And immediately there fell on him a mist and a darkness; and he went about seeking some to lead him by the hand.
12 Then the deputy, when he saw what was done, believed, being astonished at the doctrine of the Lord.
13۔اے بھائیو تم آزادی کے لئے بلائے تو گئے ہو مگر ایسا نہ ہو کہ وہ آزادی جسمانی باتوں کا موقع بنے بلکہ محبت کی راہ سے ایک دوسرے کی خدمت کرو۔
16۔ مگر مَیں یہ کہتا ہوں کہ روح کے موافق چلو تو جسم کی خواہش کو ہر گز پورا نہ کرو گے۔
18۔ اور اگر تم روح کی ہدایت سے چلتے ہو تو شریعت کے ماتحت نہیں رہے۔
19۔ اب جسم کے کام توظاہر ہیں یعنی حرامکاری، ناپاکی، شہوت پرستی۔
20۔ بْت پرستی، جادوگری، عداوتیں، جھگڑا، حسد، غصہ، تفرقے، جدائیاں، بدعتیں۔
21۔ بْغض، نشہ بازی، ناچ رنگ، اور اَور اِن کی مانند۔ ان کی بابت تمہیں پہلے سے کہہ دیتا ہوں جیسا کہ پیشتر جتا چْکا ہوں کہ ایسے کام کرنے والے خدا کی بادشاہی کے وارث نہ ہوں گے۔
22۔ مگر روح کا پھل محبت، خوشی، اطمینان، تحمل، مہربانی، نیکی، ایمانداری۔
23۔ حلم، پرہیزگاری ہے۔ ایسے کاموں کی کوئی شریعت مخالف نہیں۔
13 For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.
16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
18 But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.
19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
12۔دیکھ مَیں جلد آنے والا ہوں اور ہر ایک کے کام کے موافق دینے کے لئے اجر میرے پاس ہے۔
12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.
7۔جو غالب آئے وہی اِن چیزوں کا وارث ہوگا اور مَیں اْس کا خدا ہوں گا اور وہ میرا بیٹا ہوگا۔
7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.
خدا قادر مطلق اور اعلیٰ ہے۔
God is omnipotent, supreme.
خدا لامتناہی واحد زندگی، مواد، روح یا جان، کائنات کی، بشمول انسان، واحد ذہانت ہے۔آنکھ نے نہ خدا کو دیکھا ہے نہ اْس کی شبیہ اور صورت کو۔نہ ہی خدا اور نہ ہی کامل انسان مادی حواس کے وسیلہ پہچانا جا سکتاہے۔
God is infinite, the only Life, substance, Spirit, or Soul, the only intelligence of the universe, including man. Eye hath neither seen God nor His image and likeness. Neither God nor the perfect man can be discerned by the material senses.

As named in Christian Science, animal magnetism or hypnotism is the specific term for error, or mortal mind. It is the false belief that mind is in matter, and is both evil and good; that evil is as real as good and more powerful. This belief has not one quality of Truth.

Animal magnetism has no scientific foundation, for God governs all that is real, harmonious, and eternal, and His power is neither animal nor human. Its basis being a belief and this belief animal, in Science animal magnetism, mesmerism, or hypnotism is a mere negation, possessing neither intelligence, power, nor reality, and in sense it is an unreal concept of the so-called mortal mind.
برتری کی اِس آخری جدو جہد میں، نیم استعاراتی نظام سائنسی مابعدالاطبیعات کے لئے کوئی معیاری مدد برداشت نہیں کر تے، کیونکہ اْن کے دلائل مادی حواس کی جھوٹی گواہی اور اِس کے ساتھ ساتھ عقل کے حقائق پر بنیاد رکھتے ہیں۔ یہ نیم استعاراتی نظام اجتماعی طور پر سب کے سب واحد الوجود ہیں اور پینڈمونئیم ہیں، یعنی ایسا گھر جو خود کے خلاف منقسم ہو۔

In this final struggle for supremacy, semi-metaphysical systems afford no substantial aid to scientific metaphysics, for their arguments are based on the false testimony of the material senses as well as on the facts of Mind. These semi-metaphysical systems are one and all pantheistic, and savor of Pandemonium, a house divided against itself.
From first to last the supposed coexistence of Mind and matter and the mingling of good and evil have resulted from the philosophy of the serpent. Jesus' demonstrations sift the chaff from the wheat, and unfold the unity and the reality of good, the unreality, the nothingness, of evil.
خود کی منسوخی، جس کے وسیلہ ہم غلطی کے ساتھ اپنی جنگ میں اپنا سب کچھ سچائی یا مسیح کے حوالے کر دیتے ہیں، کرسچن سائنس کا دستورہے۔ یہ دستور وضاحت کرتا ہے خدا کی بطور الٰہی اصول یعنی زندگی باپ کی پیش کردہ، بطور سچائی، بیٹے کی پیش کردہ،اور بطور محبت ماں کی پیش کردہ۔ ہر بشر کو کسی نہ کسی وقت، یہاں یا آخرت میں، خدا کے مخالف طاقت پر فانی عقیدے کے ساتھ نمٹنا اور اْسے فتح کرنا چاہئے۔
Self-abnegation, by which we lay down all for Truth, or Christ, in our warfare against error, is a rule in Christian Science. This rule clearly interprets God as divine Principle, — as Life, represented by the Father; as Truth, represented by the Son; as Love, represented by the Mother. Every mortal at some period, here or hereafter, must grapple with and overcome the mortal belief in a power opposed to God.
کرسچن سائنس کے سوا حفظانِ صحت کا کوئی نظام خالصتاً ذہنی نہیں۔ ۔۔۔مصر کے جادو گر موسیٰ کے کئے گئے عجائبات پر رشک کرتے تھے۔ ایسے نظریات کا اْس کرسچن سائنس کے ساتھ کوئی تعلق نہیں، جو خدا کے صرف زندگی، مواد اور ذہانت ہونے کے خیالات پر مبنی ہوتی ہے اور جو شفائیہ کام میں سے انسانی عقل کو بطور روحانی عنصر خارج کردیتی ہے۔
یسوع نے نہ صرف دوائیوں کے بغیر بلکہ تنویم کے بغیر بھی بدروحوں کو نکالا اور بیمار کو شفا دی، جو سچائی کی اخلاقی اور امراضیاتی طاقت ہے۔
غلط ذہنی مشق ایک وقت میں شاید بیمار کے لئے فائدہ مند لگتی ہو، مگر علاج مستقل نہیں ہے۔یہ اس لئے کیونکہ غلط طریقہ کار انسانی عقل، جسے دماغ کہا جاتا ہے، کی مادی پرت کے مطابق اور ذریعے عمل میں لائے جاتے ہیں، جو مادی ذہنیت اور اِس کی فرضی سرگرمیوں کے فانی استحکام کے سوا کچھ نہیں۔

کرسچن سائنس روح کے ادراک کے وسیلہ مادی عقائد کو نیست کرتی ہے، اِس عمل کی کاملیت صحت کا تعین کرتی ہے۔انسانی عقل کی غلط طاقتیں،خواہ کسی بھی نام یا مکر تلے جس میں وہ کام کرتی ہیں،صرف بدی کا کام کر سکتی ہیں؛ کیونکہ روح اور مادہ، اچھائی اور بدی، روشنی اور تاریکی باہم مل نہیں سکتے۔
بدی منفی ہے کیونکہ یہ سچائی کی غیر موجودگی ہے۔ یہ کچھ بھی نہیں ہے، کیونکہ یہ کچھ ہونے کی غیر موجودگی ہے۔ یہ غیر حقیقی ہے کیونکہ یہ خدا، قادرِ مطلق اور ہرجا موجود، کی پہلی سے قیاس شْدہ غیر موجودگی ہے۔ ہر بشر کو یہ سیکھنا چاہئے کہ بدی میں طاقت ہے نہ حقیقت۔
No system of hygiene but Christian Science is purely mental. … the necromancers of Egypt strove to emulate the wonders wrought by Moses. Such theories have no relationship to Christian Science, which rests on the conception of God as the only Life, substance, and intelligence, and excludes the human mind as a spiritual factor in the healing work.
Jesus cast out evil and healed the sick, not only without drugs, but without hypnotism, which is the reverse of ethical and pathological Truth-power.
Erroneous mental practice may seem for a time to benefit the sick, but the recovery is not permanent. This is because erroneous methods act on and through the material stratum of the human mind, called brain, which is but a mortal consolidation of material mentality and its suppositional activities.
A patient under the influence of mortal mind is healed only by removing the influence on him of this mind, by emptying his thought of the false stimulus and reaction of will-power and filling it with the divine energies of Truth.
Christian Science destroys material beliefs through the understanding of Spirit, and the thoroughness of this work determines health. Erring human mind-forces can work only evil under whatever name or pretence they are employed; for Spirit and matter, good and evil, light and darkness, cannot mingle.
Evil is a negation, because it is the absence of truth. It is nothing, because it is the absence of something. It is unreal, because it presupposes the absence of God, the omnipotent and omnipresent. Every mortal must learn that there is neither power nor reality in evil.
کرسچن سائنس ذہنی عمل کے پیندے تک جاتی ہے، اور اثبات ِعدل الٰہی کو ظاہر کرتی ہے جو پورے الٰہی عمل کی درستگی کی طرف اشارہ کرتی ہے، جیسے کہ الٰہی عقل کا اجرااور نتیجہ مخالف نام نہاد عمل کی غلطی ہوتا ہے، بدی، سحر پرستی، جادو گری، تنویم، حیوانی مقناطیسیت، علم نومیات۔
سائنس کی دوا الٰہی عقل ہے؛ اور بے ایمانی، ہوس پرستی، جھوٹ، انتقام، بدنیتی حیوانی تبلیغات ہیں اور یہ کسی صورت وہ ذہنی قابلیتیں نہیں ہیں جو بیمار کو شفا دیتی ہیں۔ تنویم کار ایک غلطی دوسری غلطی تباہ کرنے کے لئے استعمال کرتا ہے۔ اگر وہ ایک عقیدے کے وسیلہ بیماری کو ٹھیک کرتا ہے، اور بنیادی طور پر ایک عقیدہ ہی بیماری کی وجہ بنتا ہے، تو یہ چھوٹی پر قابو پانے کے لئے ایک بڑی غلطی کا معاملہ ہے۔مضبوط تر غلطی کی گرفت میں آنے سے پیشتر کی نسبت معاملے کو بد ترین بناتے ہوئے یہ بڑی غلطی یہاں میدان پر قبضہ جما لیتی ہے۔
Christian Science goes to the bottom of mental action, and reveals the theodicy which indicates the rightness of all divine action, as the emanation of divine Mind, and the consequent wrongness of the opposite so-called action, — evil, occultism, necromancy, mesmerism, animal magnetism, hypnotism.
The medicine of Science is divine Mind; and dishonesty, sensuality, falsehood, revenge, malice, are animal propensities and by no means the mental qualities which heal the sick. The hypnotizer employs one error to destroy another. If he heals sickness through a belief, and a belief originally caused the sickness, it is a case of the greater error overcoming the lesser. This greater error thereafter occupies the ground, leaving the case worse than before it was grasped by the stronger error.
اگر خدا گناہ، بیماری اور موت کو تباہ نہیں کرتا تو وہ بشری عقل میں تباہ نہیں ہوتے، بلکہ اس نام نہاد عقل کو لافانی دکھائی دینے لگتے ہیں۔ جو خدا نہیں کرسکتا انسان کو وہ کام کرنے کی کوشش کرنے کی بھی ضرورت نہیں۔ اگر خدا ہی بیمار کو شفا نہیں دیتا، تو وہ شفا یاب نہیں ہوسکتے، کیونکہ کوئی کمتر قوت لامتناہی قادر مطلق کی قوت کے برابرنہیں؛ بلکہ خدا، حق، زندگی، محبت، بیمار کو راستبازوں کی دعاؤں کے وسیلہ شفا دیتا ہے۔
If God destroys not sin, sickness, and death, they are not destroyed in the mind of mortals, but seem to this so-called mind to be immortal. What God cannot do, man need not attempt. If God heals not the sick, they are not healed, for no lesser power equals the infinite All-power; but God, Truth, Life, Love, does heal the sick through the prayer of the righteous.
ایک کرسچن سائنسدان کی دوا عقل ہے، وہ الٰہی سچائی جو انسان کو آزاد کرتی ہے۔ایک کرسچن سائنسدان کبھی مادی حفظان صحت تجویز نہیں کرتا کبھی ناجائز فائدہ نہیں اٹھاتا۔ وہ عقل کے حقوق میں بے جا مداخلت نہیں کرتا اور نہ وہ حیوانی مقناطیست یا تنویم کی مشق کرسکتا ہے۔
A Christian Scientist's medicine is Mind, the divine Truth that makes man free. A Christian Scientist never recommends material hygiene, never manipulates. He does not trespass on the rights of mind nor can he practice animal magnetism or hypnotism.
کرسچن سائنسدان ظاہر کرتا ہے کہ الٰہی عقل شفا دیتی ہے، جبکہ تنویم کار مریض پر اختیار رکھنے کے لئے اْسے اپنی انفرادیت سے بے دخل کرتا ہے۔کسی بھی ذہنی آمریت یا خرابی کے لئے اْس کی ذہنیت کو قبول کرنے سے کوئی شخص بھی فائدہ نہیں پاتا۔ تمام تر غیر سائنسی ذہنی مشق غلطی ہے اور بے جان ہے، اْسے بے ثمر سمجھا اور پیش کیا جانا چاہئے۔ ایک حقیقی کرسچن سائنسدان اپنے مریض کی ذہنی اور اخلاقی قوت کو بڑھاتا رہا ہے اور الٰہی محبت کے وسیلہ اْسے جسمانی طور پر تندرست کرتے ہوئے اْس کی روحانیت کو فروغ دے رہا ہے۔
The Christian Scientist demonstrates that divine Mind heals, while the hypnotist dispossesses the patient of his individuality in order to control him. No person is benefited by yielding his mentality to any mental despotism or malpractice. All unscientific mental practice is erroneous and powerless, and should be understood and so rendered fruitless. The genuine Christian Scientist is adding to his patient's mental and moral power, and is increasing his patient's spirituality while restoring him physically through divine Love.
انسانیت کو یہ سیکھنا چاہئے کہ بدی کوئی طاقت نہیں ہے۔اس کی نام نہاد جبری حکومت عدم کے سوا کچھ نہیں۔کرسچن سائنس بدی کی سلطنت کو لوٹ لیتی ہے اور خاندانوں میں اسی طرح معاشرے میں امتیازی طور پر محبت اور نیکی کو فروغ دیتی ہے۔
Mankind must learn that evil is not power. Its so-called despotism is but a phase of nothingness. Christian Science despoils the kingdom of evil, and pre-eminently promotes affection and virtue in families and therefore in the community.
